My favorite children's book/story:
Is Your Mama A Llama? by Steven Kellogg (rhyming book with precious illustrations) AND Say Hola to Spanish by Susan Middleton Elya (silly rhyming makes learning Spanish FUN!)
Fun facts about me:
I am from Santa Fe, New Mexico and babysat for the Governor’s granddaughters at the Governor’s mansion. Mrs. (Bryn) Stuebner and I were sorority sisters at Stanford. I am blessed with a faithful marriage and super fortunate to have 2 daughters and a son. I have a creche collection with over 200 nativity scenes! I enjoy Bible study, Bunco, reading, musicals, traveling, beach-time, and ALL-things-Family!!!
What do you love the most about teaching/working with little ones?
I have been a Project Cornerstone Reader at Loyola (the elementary school closest to Children’s Center) for over 10 years. I just LOVE children and cannot wait to become a grandma. My eldest daughter is engaged (July 2022), and instead of “pressuring” her and her fantastic fiancé, I enjoy getting my “kiddo-fix” with all the sweeties at Loyola and the Children’s Center.
From your perspective, what makes the Children's Center so special?
Sweetest staff EVER… and, Psalm 127:3-4 “Children are a gift from the LORD.”
