My favorite children's book/story:

My favorite children’s book is Good Night Moon by Margaret Wise Brown. It is my favorite because my Dad read it to me and my siblings every night growing up and now I read it to my son!

Fun facts about me:

I was born and raised in Kenya. I came to the US when I was 20 years old to attend Foothill College. I am the oldest of seven kids!

Why did you decide to work with preschoolers?

I love being around kids. I have worked as a nanny for the last 10 years with preschoolers which I really enjoy so when an opportunity opened up for me to work here I immediately said yes!

What do you love the most about teaching/working with little ones?

What I love most about working with little ones is that I get to see so many smiles and I get to be a part of the messy, amazing, wonderful learning process.

From your perspective, what makes the Children's Center so special?

I have dropped off and picked up kids here for years for the families I have worked for and I can tell that the teachers, staff, children and parents make this place a warm, fun, loving and safe environment to learn and I am very happy I get to be a part of it.
