ENROLLMENT POLICIES

Securing your child's placement at registration requires a NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of 1/10th your annual tuition plus an application fee of $100. Wait Lists begin once the classes have filled. You may put your child on the Wait List by submitting your completed application form and application fee of $75. The balance of the application fee ($25), is paid upon placement in a class. The Children's Center maintains the WAIT LIST for the entire school year. We call from the list as space becomes available. Declining a space offered from this list will result in the loss of priority.

As a consideration to families, we allow each registrant to sign up for one additional family that qualifies for the same date of registration. Parents are notified in early summer regarding classroom placement. You can download an application form here. Special requests for a specific teacher or classmate(s) will be considered when it is in the best interest of your child and the make up of the class.

• All classes are contingent upon sufficient enrollment and sufficient staffing.
• Room assignments and teacher placements are subject to change.

SCHOLARSHIP
As part of the ministry of the Los Altos United Methodist Church, the Children's Center offers a generous scholarship program to families in need. Scholarship request forms are available in the office. Scholarships are not available for the Two's program. All requests for assistance are taken seriously. Decisions are made by the director and the senior pastor. A new request must be made each year.


TUITION
Annual tuition is divided into 10 equal payments, due on the first of each month September through May. There is a $25 late charge assessed on the eleventh of each month. Extended care charges may be included in the tuition check or paid separately. The money paid at registration is considered your tenth installment and is non-refundable.

The following classes are offered for School Year 2009-2010:

TWOS
(Child must be 2 by 9/1/09)
$2,900 annual tuition - $290 monthly payment
Due at registration: $390

THREES - 2 days/week
(Child must be 3 by 12/2/09)
$2,900 annual tuition - $290 monthly payment
Due at registration: $390

THREES - 3 days/week
(Child must be 3 by 12/2/09)
$4,100 annual tuition - $410 monthly payment
Due at registration: $510

FOURS
(Child must be 4 by 12/2/09)
$4,100 annual tuition - $410 monthly payment
Due at registration: $510

*INNOVATIVE
(This class may only be taken in conjunction with a 3 day class)
$2,900 annual tuition - $290 monthly payment
Due at registration: $290 (in addition to the 3 day class fee for a total of $800)

YOUNG FIVES
(Child must be 5 by 12/2/09)
$7,000 annual tuition - $700 monthly payment
Due at registration: $800

PLAY PALS
No registration is necessary. These programs may be reserved by calling the Children's Center in advance or checking availability with the office. Click here for times and fees.

EXTENDED CARE
Three's, Four's and Five's may participate in our extended care program on an "as needed basis." Click here for times and fees.
