Located on the beautiful campus of the Los Altos United Methodist Church at the corner of Foothill Expressway and Magdalena Avenue, the Children's Center provides a preschool program for children, ages 2 through 5 years old. Housed in a state-of-the-art new building with large classrooms and a beautiful multi-purpose room, the Children's Center features small classes with excellent student-teacher ratio, and a developmentally based program with loving, nurturing teachers who all teach in teams.

BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS
In all cases, a deep understanding and love of the young child is the primary prerequisite. Teaching assistants must be high school graduates; teachers need a minimum of 12 units of Early Childhood Education classes and on-going education. A Bachelor's degree is highly valued, and salary is based on educational background.
